While the Desperate Loser, who asked Russia to release Hillary's hacked emails, distracts the media about a hacked leak from the Fulton County Clerk's office, the Fulton County D.A. has assembled a stunning indictment against the DL's racketeering enterprise to steal the election. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/08/14/indictment-document-trump-georgia/ Policy and Politics - what do you think?

There are few people who know more about Ukraine from a cultural and political perspective who also know about the region, and our own capabilities, from a military perspective than Lt. Col. (ret.) Alexander Vindman. Fortunately for our discussion, and for anyone who wants to understand the situation in Ukraine, Ray Suarez interviewed Lt.Col.Vindman on March 25, providing some clarifying insights. You can hear the interview here: https://www.worldaffairs.org/media/blog/957 My take-away confirms that the way to defeat a bully is to push back. Putin is a bully. For most of the last 20 years, we have not pushed him back as he probed and tested the resolve of the West to resist his steps toward imperialist expansion. So he took the next step, in Ukraine, thinking he could get away with it. Fortunately, Biden and the NATO leaders have been able to unite in opposition, but we must do more to enable the Uks to secure a rapid end to hostilities. Vindman thinks the risk of nuclear response are very, very low for two reasons: 1) We've supplied other actors to fight Russia in other proxy wars without a nuclear response 2) Ukraine's sovereignty does not pose an existential threat to Russia, nor to Putin's rule of Russia.
